| Summary |
Use this field to provide a concise one-line summary of the item you are selling/auctioning. This field appears as the title of your item in the
main listings, so keep it short, snappy and to the point. |
| Category |
Please select the most relevant category for your . This will help people narrow down their search when they are browsing the listings or
performing a search. |
| Manufacturer |
If possible, try and select the appropriate manufacturer for your goods from the drop-down menu. We have tried to provide a
comprehensive listing of manufacturers, but if you cannot find the right one (or it's not appropriate) then please choose Other/Not Applicable. |
| Engine Type |
You can use this drop-down list to choose the type of engine your buggy uses. If this is not relevant to the item you are selling/auctioning then
simply choose Not Applicable. |
| Condition |
This field allows you to select one of five types that best describe the condition of your goods, ranging from Excellent to Poor. For more details of
what each condition represents please consult this list. It is in your best interest to be as honest as possible
when describing your item since this will help to attract the most appropriate type of buyer. |
| Year Manufactured |
If you know the year of your item then select it from this list, otherwise choose Unknown from the top of the list. |
| Description |
This is a free-text field to allow you to write up a full description of the item you are selling/auctioning. For best results try and provide the
most comprehensive description you can, making sure to highlight all the important features and points of note.
Make reference to things such as - Make, Model, Age, Colour, Voltage (if electric), Battery condition, Hours worked, Top, Windshield, Tyre condition, Extras and general condition. If there are any defects then
please make sure potential buyers are aware of them.
Whilst it's good to provide a full and descriptive entry, please try and ensure you keep your language clear, precise and pertinent. Remember that short sentences
broken down into paragraphs are much easier to read than long, rambling sections of text! |
| Picture |
If you have a photograph of your item on your PC then you can use this field to attach it to your listing. Click the Browse... button and then
navigate to the folder where your picture is stored and select it. When you submit your listing the picture will then be uploaded to the BuggyMart site and displayed alongside
your entry. We will automatically generate a small 'thumbnail' image from your picture, so you only need to upload the large version. Please note that all images must be of
type JPEG (.jpg), GIF (.gif) or PNG (.png) and the maximum size allowed is 100KB (Kilobytes). |
| Location |
Use this list to choose the country where the goods you are selling/auctioning are located - this helps potential buyers to pinpoint items that are within an
acceptable range of where they are geographically located. |
| Postage Option |
If you wish the Buyer to arrange and pay for any incurred delivery costs then please choose Buyer to pay carriage costs. If, on the other hand, the price
you are willing to arrange delivery yourself then choose Seller will pay carriage costs. You can use the Description field to provide any other relevant information regarding this. |
| Deliver Worldwide |
If you are unwilling to deal with buyers outside your location then do not check this box. However, if you are willing to sell to buyers outside the country
then tick this box. |
| Prices |
For auctions you can set the reserve price and for instant sales you can enter the exact selling price you wish to sell for. Note that Sale items that cost less
than 100 can be entered for FREE! You can also choose the currency you wish to sell in from one of £ Pounds Sterling, $ US Dollars or € Euros. All bids are then
tendered in this currency. |
| Start Date / Time |
These two fields allow you to choose the exact time and date when your listing will appear 'live' on our site. Until that point your listing will not be available to the general
public and you are free to edit it. However, once your listing appears on the site you will no longer be able to edit certain fields, such as price and duration. Please ensure, then, that you double-check
all information before submitting it. |
